A partial self portrait staged at a historical celtic engraved fountain in the middle of Pontypridd's Taff Street. It represents the feeling of disappointment in a patriotic sense. The Welsh have always felt like the underdogs and many, many times in my history I have felt extremely deflated either as a result of a national rugby loss or simply just having nothing to hang my passion and hopes on.

When Wales lost its self sufficiency as the coal industry collapsed, it left a void where the youth struggled to find an identity of which to be proud of.
