I think you captured this perfectly. I am going to try plien air painting when it cools off. It is hot & humid here. I would love to see a tutorial of painting water. We have beautiful springs here. The water is always cool at 72 degrees. On a cold winter day the water will be warmer than the air, so there will be a mist coming off the water. It is beautiful and mysterious. Also, on your figurative paintings I am curious about the back grounds. I noticed that you grisaille the back ground on as well as the figure. So maybe that’s just it. Hmmm.
