Coastal Gold, Big Sur captures the quiet sweep of the California coast, where sunlit grasslands descend toward the Pacific and layers of cliffs dissolve into the distant mist. I was drawn to the rhythm of the headlands, the movement of the water, and the warm gold of the fields against the cooler blues of sea and sky. Through luminous color and expressive brushwork, I wanted to convey not only the grandeur of Big Sur, but also its deep sense of stillness and timelessness.
